The Preatoni Tower, previously known as the Dubai Star Tower, is a mixed-use building located in the Jumeirah Lake Tower (JLT) community. It stands at a height of 643 feet and contains both residential apartments and office spaces. The tower was developed by Nakheel property group, one of the largest property developers in the Middle East, and its architectural design was created by Eng. Adnan Saffarini. The building comprises 46 above-ground floors and 3 below-ground levels, Preatoni Tower houses 554 units covering a total of 600,000 sq ft of residential and commercial space.
The Dubai Star Tower project was initially proposed in 2005 and construction began in 2007, but the building was only completed in 2018 due to financial difficulties faced by the original developer. In 2014, the project was acquired by the Preatoni Property Group, an Italian firm, who resumed construction and finished the project in 2018. The tower is currently ranked 83rd among the tallest buildings in Dubai and 170th in the Middle East. It is situated in JLT Cluster L, with direct access to First Al Khail Street, and boasts a north-facing view of Almas West Lake, offering residents of the north-facing apartments a stunning lake view from their balconies.
